What a great vintage dress, with its flattering babydoll style, sized for a larger woman and in a wonderful print! The dress is sleeveless, with a vee-neck wrap front bodice, high but not quite empire, and wide waistband. The full skirt is gathered into the waist.
SIZE: No size label. The bust measurement has some leeway due to the wrap front.

FABRIC/COLORS: Gorgeous Pucci inspired print with a geometric edge - it looks like square art tiles with vibrant striped borders. The "tile" patterns range from Mediterranean to Art Nouveau style.Colors are vibrant - primarily tomato red and spring green with some purple and pink, all against a white background. The fabric is light weight and silky, in a twill-type weave. Based on a fiber burn test, it is synthetic, most likely a nylon/poly blend. The dress is fully lined in a lightweight celery green acetate type fabric.
TAGS: No tags on the dress - I think it was most likely custom sewn. There was printed information about the fabric maker along the selvedge of the original hem - it says Couleur International Ltd.
CLOSURES: Long metal zipper down the back
CONDITION: The dress was originally a maxi - I shortened it to its current length because of fabric damage near the original hem.
